05/12/2017If you are looking for a compact, rechargeable EDC flashlight, the S10R mk III deserves a place on your shortlist as it punches well above its weight in almost every regard. The build quality, features and functionality are all of an extremely high standard and you can tell Olight have paid great attention to detail with all the genuinely useable features they packed into this very compact flashlight. The output settings are spot on, practical and include easy access to both "turbo" and "moonlight" modes from off. The user interface is very intuitive and features handy "auto-off" modes that I find myself using more than I thought I would. Similarly, I am using the magnetic base more than I thought and not just for the easy and secure attachment it provides to the included charging dock. I could drone on about all the merits and features of this little flashlight but will spare you that horror. Let's just say that I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger and buying this little flashlight. It has more than exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend the S10R mk III if you are looking for a compact, rechargeable EDC flashlight.

Description
The Olight S10R MK III Baton flashlight has a maximum output of 600 lumens from the Luminus SST-40 LED and is powered by 1 x single use CR123 or 1 x rechargeable, Li-ion RCR123 (16340) battery.
The third generation of the extremely popular S10R, this model features a new, highly efficient LED that provides four brightness settings, ranging from 0.5 to 600 lumens. The torch also offers a strobe mode and a lockout function.
The S10R MK III comes with a new USB desktop charging dock, allowing for convenient charging when you are on the go. As the tail cap of the flashlight is magnetic, the charging cable easily attaches to it, in addition to being able to put the torch on metallic surfaces to provide lighting for every situation.
To turn the S10R MK III on and off, click the side switch. When the light is on, press and hold the switch to cycle through the brightness levels. To access moonlight mode, press and hold the switch for more than one second when the torch is off. For direct access to turbo mode, double press the side switch or triple click for strobe.
Brightness Levels:
High: 600~300 lumens - 60 mins runtime (Please note, the output steps down from 600 to 300 lumens after 1.5 mins to avoid overheating)
Mid: 120 lumens - 160 mins runtime
Low: 12 lumens - 33 hrs runtime
Moonlight: 0.5 lumens - 15 days runtime
Plus Strobe mode.
Maximum beam distance 118 meters, waterproof to IPX-8 and resistant to impacts up to 1.5 meters.
Includes: stainless steel pocket clip, customised 650mAh 3.7V RCR123 battery, 4.2V desktop charging dock, 50 cm micro USB cable, lanyard
