11/10/2019I bought this to replace a lost Fenix cr123 torch. Performance wise its great. Unfortunately i dont like the UI nor the need to have the clip on to use a lanyard. Also its uniform shape does not intuitively fall to hand the correct way round. If you are looking for lowest cost and best light performance in a small form - its great. If you want find an easy to handle model and can stretch to more £s I would go Fenix

24/02/2018Excellent torch, small compact and powerfull. Did seem to need rechargeing frequently, would advise having several batteries.
Description
The Olight S1 Mini Baton has a maximum output of 600 lumens from the Cree XM-L2 LED or 450 lumens from the XP-G3 CRI LED. The flashlight is powered by 1 x li-ion RCR123A (included) or a single use CR123A cell. The S1 Mini comes with an Olight RCR123A (16340) battery with a built-in micro USB port plus a micro USB charging lead, eliminating the need for a separate external charger.
The flashlight is available with a standard cool white LED (XM-L2) or in the HCRI version which provides a high colour rendering index for perfect colour reproduction plus a CRI of 90.
The S1 Mini features five brightness levels, offering an excellent range of outputs for your everyday applications. The standard XM-L2 version ranges from 0.5 to 600 lumens and the HCRI version from 0.5 to 450 lumens. The light is controlled by the single side switch which also incorporates a built-in low battery indicator.

High: 330 lumens - 60 mins runtime

Moonlight: 0.5 lumens - 15 days runtime

Turbo: 450 lumens - 1 min runtime (Please note, the output steps down to 250 lumens for 55 mins to avoid overheating)

Maximum beam distance 100 meters (XM-L2) or 70 meters (HCRI), waterproof to IPX-8 and resistant to impacts up to 1.5 meters.
