The Nitecore NU20 Classic ultra lightweight headlamp has a maximum output of 360 lumens at a beam distance of up to 109 meters from the NiteLab UHE LED. It has a maximum runtime of up to 97 hours and is powered by a built-in 500mAh Li-ion battery which is USB-C rechargeable.

This headlamp is constructed from a lightweight PC material. With a weight of just 38g, the featherlight headband ensures comfortable wear for outdoor use, and with a reflective, glow in the dark design, offers extra security too.

The NU20 Classic has location beacon, SOS and slow flashing modes as well as dual auxiliary lights featuring a high CRI white light (CRI ≥ 90) and red light, ideal for emergencies and safety warnings. The headlamp is operated by a dual button interface. The power button operates the primary and auxiliary white light outputs and the R button controls the auxiliary red light. To activate the primary light or the auxiliary light red simply short press the button and short press again within 3 seconds to adjust the brightness levels.

The NU20 Classic features an intuitive power indication to keep users updated with the remaining power level. 1 constant light indicates 25% battery remaining, 2 constant on lights indicates 50% battery remaining, 3 constant on lights indicates 75% battery remaining and 4 constant lights indicates 100% battery remaining.

The head torch features a lockout mode which prevents accidental activation whilst the headlamp is in transportation or storage in a pocket or backpack. The mode is activated by pressing both of the dual button interface buttons for 3 seconds.

The NU20 Headlamp has a waterproof rating of IP66 and an impact resistance of 1 meter.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the NU20 Classic based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.
