The Nitecore UT27 800 is a lightweight, dual beam head lamp with dual power sources. Primarily designed for use while running, the lightweight design is comfortable to wear for long periods and can be used in conjunction with external power banks for extended runtimes.

Every UT27 800 includes an HLB1300 removable 1300mAh rechargeable battery with USB-C charging port. The UT27 800 is also compatible with 3 x AAA batteries, so even more spares can be carried. The inside of the battery compartment features a glow in the dark material to aid swapping batteries in the dark.

The dual beam design features a warm tint spot beam that has improved light penetration in rain and fog. The second flood beam has a cool tint and provides improved peripheral vision. Two auxiliary red light LEDs are situated in the centre of the LED array for times when night vision needs to be preserved.

Available in black with a yellow headband or white with a grey headband.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the UT27 800 based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.

Operation is via dual switches on top of the light and feature a lockout to prevent accidental operation. Power indicators flash to display the remaining battery power to take the guesswork out of remaining runtime.

The included elastic head strap is breathable and features a silicon diverting strip.

Waterproof to IP66, which is all weather proof but not submergible.

Another unique feature of the UT27 is  the included 'Diffusing Stuff Sack', which essentially turns the light into a lantern, which is ideal for use in tents or campervans.
