The Nitecore TIP 3 Metallic Keychain Light features multiple colour temperatures, delivering a powerful maximum output of up to 720 lumens with a beam distance of up to 92 meters. It is equipped with dual quad-core MCT UHE LEDs, offering high luminous efficiency and selectable colour temperatures to suit a wide range of lighting needs.

The MCT UHE LEDs provide three high-performance colour temperatures:

• 3000K warm light, offering excellent penetration in rain or fog, ideal for outdoor walking in adverse conditions
• 4500K neutral white light, perfect for everyday tasks such as walking, reading, or for emergency lighting

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the TIP 3 based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.

For added safety, the TIP 3 offers two electronic lockout modes:

• Semi Lockout, indicated by a single red flash, prevents accidental activation while still allowing access to Turbo mode for emergencies.
• Full Lockout, indicated by a double red flash, disables both buttons entirely to prevent activation during transport or storage.

A mechanical lockout option is also available by attaching the clip over the front of the torch, physically covering the buttons to prevent unintended use.

Powered by a 650mAh built-in rechargeable battery, the TIP 3 delivers a maximum runtime of up to 160 hours and supports convenient USB-C charging.
