Great technical advice and using these batteries has overcome my concern with wanting to use the 18350's which seem to need far too much supervision! They do stop working very abruptly, no slow run down, so have a spare available.

i bought the RCR 123A batteries to go in my range finding binoculars.

I bought four of these batteries. Two of them were right on 650mAh (648 and 652mAh, averaged on five charges each). One of them averaged 599 mAh and the last one had both a bit higher internal resistance than the others, and averaged only 572mAh. All batteries were charged at the recommended 300mA. However a reasonable price and fast delivery, even to Sweden.
