The Nitecore NU45 headlamp is powered by a built in 4,000mAh 18650 Li-ion battery that takes just 1.5 hours to fully charge with the 14W fast charging mechanism and can last up to 86 hours (3.58 days). The battery can be monitored by pressing the mode button to show the remaining power. The light produces a maximum output of 1,700 lumens with a beam distance up to 172 meters and an intensity up to 7,426 cd.

In order to deliver high light efficiency the NU45 uses 8-core NiteLab UHE LEDs which reduces energy consumption for prolonged use while enhancing heat control. The head torch features dual auxiliary lights which includes a red light to preserve night vision; especially useful for emergencies or to use as safety warnings, and a high CRI white light (CRI 90) which reproduces a more realistic depiction of colour, ideal for close up illumination.

The NU45 torch has an ultra-lightweight headband with a width of 32mm / 1.26” and a thickened foam on the bracket to help absorb shock, repel sweat and reduce burden by reducing pressure on the forehead allowing for extended outdoor wear. The headband includes a quick release bracket, made with a modular design to enable the action of swapping to a mount, other bracket or to a headband.

The sensor protection function allows the light to detect an obstruction which will automatically decrease the brightness, preventing overheating. This function can be temporarily turned off for close up illumination if needed.

The headlamp is operated by a dual button interface allowing both buttons to be activated using gloves. There is a power button operating the on/off feature and brightness level adjustments and a mode button which switches between light sources. Lockout mode is entered by pressing both buttons for 2 seconds when the headlamp is off.

Crafted from stamped aluminum alloy and high quality plastic the NU45 has a IP68 waterproof rating and has an impact resistance of 2 meters.
