The Nitecore NTP40 is the first titanium pencil, following the success of Nitecore's tactical pens, such as the NTP21 and NTP30. The ideal instrument for sketching and writing, the pencil gives a smooth and clear output suitable for a range of purposes.

The body is CNC machined from rigid TC4 titanium alloy which provides excellent impact and corrosion resistance, in addition to being kind to skin. With 26 loops of anti-sliding thread around the head of the pencil, the NTP40 has a comfortable grip and relieves fatigue found when using a normal writing instrument for a long period of time.
