The Nitecore MT40GT torch has a maximum output of 1000 lumens from the Cree XM-L2 LED and has a range of battery choices. The flashlight can use rechargeable Li-ion cells, either 2 x 18650 or 4 x RCR123 (16340). Alternatively, the MT40GT can use 4 x single use CR123 batteries.

Offering an impressive beam distance up to 600 meters, the MT40GT is an excellent searchlight. With six customisable brightness and special levels, the torch can be programmed to best suit your needs. The light has a user-defined and a turbo mode which are chosen depending on if the head is tightened or loosened.

Brightness Levels (based on 2 x 18650 2600 mAh batteries):
Turbo: 960 lumens - 2 hrs 15 mins runtime
High: 500 lumens - 4 hrs 15 mins runtime
Mid: 250 lumens - 9 hrs 30 mins runtime
Low: 90 lumens - 31 hrs runtime

Maximum beam distance 600 metres, waterproof to IPX-8 ( 2 metres submersible ) and resistant to impacts from 1.5 metres.
