The Nitecore LR40 is a multi-functional rechargeable lantern with a variety of lighting options plus  the ability to charge other devices from the USB-A output port.

Four light sources are available: Warm light, White light, Warm + White light and Red light SOS.

Brightness of the LR40 can be changed via the dial on top of the lantern with step-less adjustment.  Next to the dial are four blue indicator lights, which display the remaining battery power.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the LR40 based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.

Power is provided via a built-in 4000mAh Li-ion battery, which is charged via a USB-C port.

The Nitecore LR40 can be used free standing or hung via the included metal loop. Constructed with a ABS plastic housing and metal cage.

Available in white or army green.
