The Nitecore LA10 CRI has a maximum output of 85 lumens from the Nichia 219B LED. Although a lower output than the original LA10, the CRI version overs excellent colour rendition and reduces strain on eyes, providing a warm tint. The camping light is powered by 1 x AA battery, either single use alkaline or rechargeable NiMH.

Offering three brightness levels and a location beacon, the LA10 CRI is suitable for a range of applications, especially for illuminating a tent whilst camping. The extendable and retractable diffuser allows you to control the light source to suit you. The torch is operated by a rotating tail cap which turn the light on and off, in addition to adjusting the output.

The innovative design features a magnetic tail cap that allows for quick attachment to metal surfaces and a lanyard to hang, suspend or fasten the LA10 creating a pendent light that does not require holding.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the LA10 CRI based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.
