Description

The Nitecore HA29 UHE is an expedition-grade, all-weather headlamp engineered for serious outdoor use, combining variable CRI technology, a modular power system, and a genuine IPX8 waterproof rating to deliver reliable performance wherever your adventure takes you.

Variable CRI

The HA29 UHE features six dual-core MCT UHE LEDs, each carrying a high-CRI emitter, giving you three distinct modes matched to the terrain:

  • CRI 98 — Exceptional colour accuracy for technical environments where rock texture, ice fractures, and anchor quality need to be read precisely.
  • CRI 85 — A balanced output for steep slopes, snow-covered trails, and mixed technical terrain.
  • CRI 73 — The brightest and most efficient setting for camp, easy trails, and urban night running.

Brightness Levels and Runtimes & Range:

Primary Light (Neutral White Light/Warm Light/Cool White Light):
Turbo: 1,200 lumens, 3 hours 15 minutes runtime, 170 meters
High: 600 lumens, 4 hours 15 minutes runtime, 119 meters
Mid: 300 lumens, 8 hours 45 minutes runtime, 82 meters
Low: 100 lumens, 17 hours 30 minutes runtime, 49 meters
Ultralow: 8 lumens, 122 hours runtime, 13 meters

Auxiliary Red Light:
High: 15 lumens, 29 hours runtime, 7 meters
Low: 5 lumens, 90 hours runtime, 4 meters
Slow Flashing: 15 lumens

Primary Light (Neutral White Light):
SOS: 1,200 Lumens
Beacon: 1,200 lumens

Tested across temperature and pressure extremes, the HA29 UHE carries a full IPX8 waterproof rating — not just splash-resistant, but capable of withstanding continuous submersion. Whether you're caught in a Scottish downpour or pushing through alpine conditions, this headlamp won't let you down.

The detachable modular power system makes the HA29 UHE genuinely expedition ready. The included HLB2500 Li-ion battery pack (2,500mAh, 3.8V) mounts directly into the headlamp body, unlocks the IPX8 rating, and recharges via USB-C in approximately 2 hours 20 minutes from a 5V/2A adapter. Standby charge holds for around 12 months.

Alternatively, the HLB1500 battery pack (available separately) offers a lighter, more compact option for shorter outings — and if both run dry, standard alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH AAA batteries can be used as a backup.

The included battery pack delivers 17 hours 30 minutes of continuous illumination at the 100-lumen low setting.
