The Nitecore EDC27 UHi has a maximum output of 3,100 lumens from the 2x NiteLab UHi 20 LEDs and a beam distance up to 305 meters. The flashlight is powered by a built in 1,700mAh Li-ion battery with a runtime of up to 55 hours.

The torch has five brightness levels and a strobe mode which are operated by the ultimate dual-stage tactical buttons. The two switches are different heights for easy identification and for easy selection to the desired brightness levels. The mode button offers quick access to Strobe and Turbo modes for rapid responses. A preset function is available, allowing the flashlights brightness to be selected before turning the torch on, helping to match the different tactical situations and helping avoid harsh glare during daily use. 

The EDC27 UHi features a multifunctional OLED real time display which provides real time information on the brightness levels, battery voltage, runtime remaining, lockout mode and power remaining. The flashlight has a sensor protection function plus two lockout modes to prevent accidental activation.

The EDC27 UHi has a waterproof rating of IP54 and an impact resistance of up to 1 meter.
