The Nitecore EDC25 is powered by a built in 1,700mAh Li-ion battery and features 2 x NiteLab UHi 20 LEDs. The LEDs produce a maximum output of 3,000 lumens at a beam distance of 300 meters and high intensity up to 22,500 cd. The runtime of the torch is up to 55 hours (2.29 days). The torch features an intuitive indicator showing the battery power and output levels.

This torch has a heat dissipation design, extended from head to tail to help conduct and disperse heat quickly. The striped design helps to project heat outwards, preventing overheating and increases contact with air for enhanced cooling efficiency.

The EDC25 is powered by dual tail buttons. The tactical switch has two stages; fully press to turn the torch on and off and half press to adjust the brightness. The second switch provides direct access to strobe and turbo settings.

The dual lockout mode offers half lockout mode where the power button is locked while the customisable button is available for access to Turbo / Strobe, and full lockout mode disables both buttons, ideal for storing or carrying the torch.

The Nitecore torch has many user-friendly details, including the thoughtful finger position which is designed for easily pushing down and preventing accidental activation when the torch is in a pocket. The EDC25 has a USB-C charging port with a cover made of a durable PC material to provide dust and impact resistance.

Made from an aluminium alloy with an HA III military grade, hard-anodised finish, the flashlight is 38% lighter than other conventional tactical flashlights. It has an IP54 water resistance rating allowing the torch to be used in all weather conditions with an impact resistance up to 1 meter.
