Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the EDC17 EU based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.

The EDC17 is operated via a slide switch and an M button for intuitive control:
