The Nitecore EC4S is manufactured using a casting method of injecting molten aluminium under high pressure into a mould cavity. Benefits of this manufacturing process include much improved heat sinking due to the lack of separate parts, allowing the heat to dissipate though the whole body. The EC4S is also incredibly light weight at only 171 grams and much smaller than other flashlights in this format.

Featuring a Cree XHP50 Quad Die LED housed inside a micro-textured reflector, which produces a huge wall of light and large hotspot.

The combination of small form factor, class leading brightness and useful beam pattern makes the EC4S a hard package to beat.

Powered by 2x18650 or 4xRCR123 Li-ion or 4xCR123A. The EC4S has a maximum brightness of 2150 lumens and maximum range of 280 meters.

Brightness Levels based on 2x18650 2600 mAh batteries :

• Turbo: 2150 Lumens - 45 minute runtime
• High: 1100 Lumens - 2 hour 15 minute runtime
• Mid: 400 Lumens - 6 hour 15 minute runtime
• Low: 80 Lumens - 30 hour runtime
• Micro: 2 Lumens - 325 hour runtime

The side switch also incorporates a blue light power indicator that displays the remaining battery power.

A large rear thumbscrew lock securely holds the battery cover in place and also features a standard tripod connector. The flat base makes for easy tail standing.

The EC4 has a 40mm head making it compatible with many of the Nitecore accessories including red, green and blue filters plus diffuser, traffic wand and crenulated bezel.

Maximum beam distance 280 meters, waterproof to IPX-8 (2 meters submersible) and resistant to impacts up to 1.5 meters.
