The Fenix intrinsically safe WF05E torch has a maximum output of 85 lumens from the Cree XP-G2 neutral white LED and is powered by 2 x AAA batteries. The torch has been designed for use in dangerous areas that have a risk of explosion, excluding underground mines. Please note, only the following approved alkaline AAA batteries to maintain the safety ratings: Energizer E92, Duracell MN2400, Panasonic LR03XWA.

The WF05E is certified by IECEx, ATEX and CSA and can be safely used in Zone 1 and Zone 2 where there is explosive gas mixture in classes IIA, IIB and IIC. In addition, the torch can be used in combustible dust areas Zone 21 and Zone 22, such as areas containing or close to petroleum, chemical and textile industries, fire controlloing, metallurgical areas, electric power stations and paper producing plant industries. 

Operated by twisting the head, the WF05E offers three brightness levels ranging from 10 to 85 lumens. 

Brightness Levels:
High: 85 lumens - 11.5 hrs runtime
Med: 30 lumens - 35 hrs runtime
Low: 10 lumens - 80 hrs runtime

Maximum beam distance 54 meters, waterproof to IP68 and resistant to impacts up to 1 meter.
