The Fenix TK35R is a high-performance, multi-mode tactical flashlight that offers five brightness levels, ranging from 50 lumens to 5,800 lumens. In Burst mode, this flashlight can project a beam distance of up to 610 meters, utilising both white and UV beams. It is equipped with four Luminus SFT25R LEDs and one SST08 UV LED, providing added versatility for different lighting needs.

The TK35R is powered by two included Fenix ARB-L18-4000 batteries, offering a long-lasting runtime of up to 105 hours. The flashlight features a USB-C socket for recharging, located at the tail and protected by a sliding cover. It supports a fast charging time of just two hours.

Operation of the TK35R is managed through dual tail switches and a Flexisensa Switch, which allows access to specific modes:

Special Mode:
- Fully press the Tactical Switch button for 0.5 seconds to activate the instant Burst mode.
- Long press the Functional Switch for 0.5 seconds to activate the instant Strobe mode.

UV Mode:
- Fully press the Tactical Switch to turn on the UV light.
- Single click the Functional Switch to alternate between High and Low levels.

Lockout Mode:
- Turn off and lock the light to prevent accidental activation.

White Light Mode:
- Fully press the Tactical Switch to turn on the white light.
- Single click the Functional Switch to cycle through Eco, Low, Medium, High, and Burst modes.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the TK35R based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.

The TK25R has a waterproof rating of IP68 and an impact resistance of up to 1 meter.
