Powered by a 6,000mAh USB-C rechargeable battery, the TK17 boasts an impressive runtime of up to 60 hours. The battery supports both charging and discharging through a two-way USB-C port and includes three LED indicators that display the battery's real-time status.

For enhanced durability, the battery compartment features a double-spring suspension system that protects the battery from external impacts and helps prevent sudden power loss.

The flashlight is operated using dual tail switches:
- Tactical Switch:
- Tap for momentary-on
- Fully press for constant-on
- Long press (0.5 seconds) for Burst mode

- Functional Switch:
- When the light is off: tap for instant Strobe (releases to turn off)
- When the light is on: single click to cycle through brightness levels
- Long press (0.5 seconds) to activate and lock Strobe mode

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the TK17 based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.
