The updated Fenix RC40 2016 has an impressive output of 6000 lumens from the 6 x Cree XM-L2 U2 LEDs and is powered by a tailored Fenix ARB-L3 7.4V 7800mAh removable rechargeable Li-ion battery (included). The inbuilt battery is protected from over-charging, over-discharging & over-heating. Charging time via the mains is approx 3.5 hrs & via car socket approx 5.5 hours.

The Fenix RC40 2016 is designed for search scenarios with a balanced rapid scan beam to illuminate large areas in the field.

With five brightness levels plus strobe and SOS mode, the new Fenix RC40 2016 is a fantastic torch for search and rescue, especially with the 730 meter beam distance. The searchlight has a smooth reflector.

The Fenix RC40 2016 has been well designed to include intelligent features such as an over-heat circuit, a memory circuit to go back in to the last used mode, a low voltage downshift and a digitally regulated output.

The searchlight has stainless steel dual side switches & a lock out function.
