The Fenix HM71R is a high performance rechargeable head torch with separate floodlight and spotlight outputs. The spotlight output has a maximum output of 2700 lumens with a range of 230 meters while  the floodlight features a neutral white LED for improved colour rendition at close range.

The HM71R can be quickly and easily removed from the headlamp bracket, turning it into a handheld torch in a couple of seconds, thanks to Fenix's patented quick release design. A magnetic
tail and body clip enable even more methods of hands-free use.

High: 800 lumens - 5 hours - 104 meters

Med: 200 lumens - 16 hours - 52 meters

Low: 50 lumens - 48 hours - 27 meters

*The Turbo output is measured in a total of runtime including output at reduced levels due to temperature or protection mechanism in the design.

Floodlight

High: 500 lumens - 8 hours - 47 meters

Med: 200 lumens - 16 hours - 30 meters

Low: 50 lumens - 48 hours - 14 meters

Reading: 5 lumens - 400 hours - 5 meters

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the HM71R based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.

Powered by a 21700 Li-ion battery, the HM71R includes a Fenix ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery which charges via the USB-C port on the side of the lamp.

Operation is via a single switch, which can be used while wearing gloves. Green and red LEDs situated inside the switch indicate the current battery charge level.

Waterproof to IP68 - 2 meter submersible for up to 4 hours and impact resistant to drops from up to 2 meters.
