The Fenix HM65R V2 Niteray is an exclusive UK edition of the HM65R V2.0 platform, built with additional brightness settings and specially tuned operating modes beyond the standard global release. It combines an independently controlled spotlight and floodlight in a magnesium alloy body, aimed at users who want finer lighting control alongside serious peak output - from industrial and search applications to backcountry use.

Performance
The Niteray delivers up to 2,200 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 230 meters, split across five spotlight brightness levels and four floodlight brightness levels, plus multiple combined spot/flood settings. Exclusive to this UK edition are an additional 350-lumen spotlight and 50-lumen floodlight setting, extra 3-lumen and 85-lumen red-light settings, and a dedicated 14-hour work mode that pairs a 150-lumen floodlight with a 25-lumen spotlight. Six red-light brightness levels are available in total, including a broad 3-lumen red stealth mode for preserving night vision.

Control
Dual top-mounted switches give independent control over spotlight and floodlight, with direct red-light access via a double-click of the left switch. Electronic brightness memory retains your last-used spotlight and floodlight settings between uses.

Construction
The magnesium alloy body is roughly 30% lighter than a comparable aluminum design, paired with Fenix's click-adjustable SPORT headband for on-the-go fit adjustment.

Power System
Powered by an included, replaceable Fenix ARB-L18-3400 (3400mAh) 18650 battery, with a rapid charge time of approximately 2.5 hours. The light can be operated while charging.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the HM65R based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.
