The Fenix HM23 V2.0 multi-purpose ultralight headlamp uses a Luminus SST20 cool white LED with a maximum output of 300 lumens, providing a clear balanced beam with a distance of up to 88 meters. The head torch features red and white light sources and is powered by 1 x readily available AA or 1 x Fenix 1.5V 14500 rechargeable battery, such as the ARB-L14-1600U (sold separately).

Weighing just 86.3g, the HM23 V2.0 is perfect for outdoor activities such as running, camping and mountaineering as well as map reading with the featured red mode. It can be used as a headlamp with the included head band, or remove from the mount to use as a forward-facing flashlight. Alternatively, the magnetic tail can be firmly attached to steel surfaces and a body clip can be attached to a backpack or clothing for hands free use.

The HM23 V2.0 dual light sources are controlled by one single switch. The single switch also operates the electronic lockout function which prevents accidental activation during storage or while on the move. To activate this setting, long press the single switch button for 3 seconds whilst the headlamp is off to lock the headlamp and repeat to unlock.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) adjusts the output of the HM23 V2.0 based on the working and ambient temperatures. This feature ensures that the device maintains optimal performance while preventing the LED from overheating. The output measurements account for the total runtime, including periods of reduced brightness due to temperature changes or built-in protection mechanisms, which may cause the brightness level to drop.

The HM23 V2.0 has n waterproof rating of IP68 and an impact resistance up to 2 meters.
