18/01/2017Nice headlamp and great service . A pity there is no way to lock out the on off switch to stop it activating accidently. Great that it runs well on AA and CR123. I use it as an emergency light in the car.

26/11/2015This is a great light. Used it for a few jobs now in the shed fixing bikes etc where some extra light is required. I love the natural color it gives off, prefere it to the cool blue color of some. Medium brightness is plenty most of the time so battery will last hours. Very comfortable headband and metal part doesn't touch the skin. It is really secure clipped to the headband but really easy to take out and use as a handheld light too. I thought the black paint would get damaged clipping it in and out of the metal bracket but doesn't seem to be a problem. Would've given 5 stars if it took rechargeable cr123a batteries and li-ions but it's no a big deal to me- I'm using aa alkalines for now and its brilliant.

The Fenix HL50 is a compact, light weight, waterproof head torch powered by 1 x single use AA battery or 1 x rechargeable NiMH AA battery or 1 x CR123A lithium single use battery - the supplied extension tube allows simple switching between the two battery sizes.

The headlamp can be easily unclipped from the headband holder to be used as a hand held torch. The on/off & brightness levels are controlled by a single button.

The digital control circuitry maintains constant brightness as long as possible. There is reverse polarity protection to guard against incorrect battery installation.
The Fenix HL50 Headlamp has a Neutral White Cree XM-L2 T6 LED for improved definition and colour rendering, the HL50 is an excellent work light that can also be detached from the headband to stand on any flat surface.
