The Fenix HL18R head torch has a maximum output of 400 lumens from the Cree XP-G3 warm white and Everlight 2835 cool white light LEDs, which provide a separately operable spot and floodlight. The light can be powered by the included 1300mAh Li-polymer battery pack or 3 x AAA (NiMH or alkaline) batteries. 

Offering a range of outputs and mode, the HL18R is operated using a dual switch which provides quick and easy access to all the settings, plus a lockout mode to prevent accidental activation when not in use.

The Fenix HL18R can be recharged via a micro USB port on the bottom of the headlamp when using the Li-poly battery. The light features an LED charging indicator to keep you updated on the charging process. The indicator also provides the battery level by simply single clicking either switch with the torch turned off.

The headlamp sits on a 60° tiltable mechanism which allows the light to be directed where required. The light sits on a sweat-channeling, reflective headband which provides a secure and comfortable experience.
