The Nitecore UT27 (MCT) is an ultralight, high-performance headlamp engineered for trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts seeking top-tier versatility and clarity. Boasting a powerful 800-lumen output and an impressive beam distance of up to 168 meters, it features three colour temperatures and three CRI options—ensuring superior visual acuity across any terrain or environment.

Featuring TrueVision Technology with a multi-faceted optical dual-lens system, the UT27 offers an impressive 94% light transmission and a 100° flood beam, providing wide, natural, and evenly distributed illumination.

Powered by a 1,500mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery pack (HLB1500), the UT27 provides up to 14.5 hours of runtime at 100 lumens with the MCT UHE LEDs. For added convenience, it’s also compatible with widely available 3x AAA batteries—making it easy to carry extra power on the go. The glow-in-the-dark battery compartment ensures swift, hassle-free replacements even in low-light situations.

The UT27 has an Intuitive Dual-Button Operation:

W Button: Controls neutral white and cool white light
Y Button: Controls warm light
Lockout Mode: Prevents accidental activation during transport (hold both buttons for 2 seconds)

Weighing only 74g, the UT27 is easy to wear and carry. A multipurpose clip allows four different mounting options—perfect for caps, backpacks, and more. The 90° adjustable bracket ensures precise nighttime illumination, while the 180° wide-opening battery compartment makes replacements effortless. The breathable, lightweight headband with reflective markings provides all-day comfort and added safety.

For added versatility, the included diffusing stuff sack transforms the UT27 into a camping lantern or serves as protective storage when not in use.

Please note that the difference between the UT27 MCT and the UT27 MCT Pro is that the UT27 MCT Pro includes two HLB1500 battery packs, while the UT27 MCT includes only one.
