The SOG Traction (TD1012-CP) is an all-purpose, lightweight and durable knife with a plain edge blade and comfortable handle. The overall length is 7.7" and the knife weighs 2.4 oz.
The folding blade is made from 5Cr13MoV steel with a satin finish and has a tanto shape. The blade measures 3.5" in length and 0.1" in thickness.
The black handle of the SOG Traction is made from glass reinforced nylon with a diamond shaped knurling design to provide grip and comfort when using the knife. The handle has a reversible, low carry belt clip allowing the knife to be securely attached when not in use.
The Traction features a lockback mechanism with spring tension to hold the blade in the open position.
