Nitecore NU05 Lightweight Light

The Nitecore NU05 is an extremely light weight (only 10.4 grams) rechargeable light that can be used in a variety of ways to help see and be seen.

Featuring white and red LEDs with various flashing modes the NU05 can be worn as a headlamp using the strap for a low level (35 lumens) light source making it ideal for use inside tents etc. Where the NU05 really comes into its own is as a visibility device that can be attached to clothing, backpacks, helmets, arm or wrist and also bike handlebar or seat post tubes.

The red output can be set to fast or slow blinking modes. Slow is suitable for walking and trekking and the fast blink for faster activities such as cycling.

The NU05 is charged via micro USB and features a built-in Li-ion battery. Operation is simply by pressing the single button at the centre of the light and pressing again within 3 seconds to scroll through modes:

• Red Light Slow Blink - 4 lumens - 9 hours Runtime
• Red Light Quick Blink - 4 lumens - 9 hours runtime
• White Light Slow Blink - 35 lumens - 2 hours 15 minutes runtime
• White Light Constant Illumination - 1 hour runtime

Lockout mode is available to prevent accidental activation by holding the switch down for one second to lock and three seconds to unlock.

Water resistant to IP66 standard and resistant to drops from up to 1.5 meters in height.
