The Nitecore HC65 is a rechargeable head torch with three separate light sources:

1) Main white light comes from the Cree XM-L2 U2 LED with a maximum output of 1000 lumens and a range of up to 110 meters. Ideal for users who require a long range powerful beam. 100 degree beam angle. Constant circuit prevents any flickering (non-PWM).

2) In addition to the main light there is an auxiliary high CRI >90 LED that is suitable for short range illumination such as reading or use inside a tent. This LED is also good for use in emergency situations as it will not use very much battery power (over 24 hours runtime!). High CRI lighting resembles morning sunlight and produces accurate colour rendition.

3) The third lighting source comes in the form of a low level red light at 11 lumens with 20 hour runtime. Red light does not degrade adapted night vision like white light and is also useful for night photography.

The HC65 charges via an intelligent Micro-USB charging circuit, which automatically terminates upon charge completion and is covered by a protective cap to keep dirt and water out. Includes 1 x Nitecore 3400mAh 18650 battery that charges inside the light. In addition to 18650 Li-ion batteries the HC65 can be powered by single use CR123A cells.

The head of the HC65 is constructed from aero-grade aluminium alloy with HAIII military grade hard anodising. The full metal housing allows for efficient heat dissipation to prolong the life of the LED.

Operation is simple via a single side switch to access all brightness levels and special flashing modes.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) module regulates output and adapts to the ambient environment, maintaining optimal performance at all times.

Waterproof to IPX8 (2 meter submersible) and impact resistant to drops from 1.5 meters.
