The Nitecore EC23 flashlight offers an awe inspiring maximum output of 1800 lumens from the Cree XHP35 HD E2 LED and can be powered by either 1 x rechargeable Li-ion 18650 battery (recommended), 2 x rechargeable Li-ion RCR123 (16340) batteries or 2 x CR123 single use cells.
In order to achieve the full brightness of 1800 lumens a high capacity 18650 battery with output current of 8A is required. The compact size of the EC23 makes it a good choice for everyday carry, providing an excellent range of five brightness levels, from 1 to 1800 lumens. The EC23 has a simple user interface that consists of a single side switch to operate the brightness levels in addition to the strobe, SOS and location beacon modes. Single click for on/off and click and hold to cycle through the modes. Quick access to turbo mode is available by holding the switch for over three seconds when the torch is turned on - release to return to the previous mode. Triple click enters the flashing modes.
The Nitecore EC23 has a convenient built-in power indicator to ensure you have power when you need it. The blue indicator can be found in the side switch and will blink quickly when power levels are low.

Maximum beam distance 255 meters, waterproof to IPX-8 and resistant to impacts up to 1.5 meters. All circuit contacts are gold plated to prevent oxidation and there is built-in electronic reverse polarity protection allowing the use of button top and flat top cells.
