The Fenix HL40R head torch has a maximum output of 600 lumens (Burst mode) from the Cree XP-L HI V2 LED. The lamp is powered by a rechargeable, built-in, Li-poly battery, allowing for quick and convenient charging when you are on the go. 

The HL40R features a focusing beam, allowing you to select between spot and floodlight by using the rotary ring on the headlamp. In addition, the head torch offers two modes General and Functional with four constant brightness levels, plus a Burst, reading and SOS mode. The range of outputs is operated by a dual switch on the lamp. The General switch can be held for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on and off in this mode, and single click to cycle through the levels. Use the Functional switch in the same way to access the Functional modes of Reading and SOS modes.

The HL40R is made from quality plastics making it lightweight and features tough aluminium alloy for excellent heat dissipation. The headlamp has a 60º tilt mechanism which allows the light to be angled as required.

Maximum beam distance 96 meters, waterproof to IP66 and resistant to impacts up to 1 meter.
